Avery is a lighting designer and assistant from St. Louis, MO and is passionate about activism in theater. Avery is receiving a BFA in Lighting Design from Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Credits at Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts include Design: Our Town; Assistant: Our Dear Dead Drug Lord, Silence, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Blood at the Root, A Bright Room Called Day, and Sueño. For Webster University’s Department of Dance, Avery has designed BFA: Echoing Forward and assisted New Works: a BFA student choreographic concert. Avery has also worked with the Repertory Theatre St. Louis on It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play as well as the Olney Theatre Center on Disney Frozen The Musical as an assistant lighting designer.
